chelator which is a medicine used to remove the excess iron from the body (also called iron overload).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>It traps and removes excess iron which is then excreted mainly in the stools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Do not use Deferasirox :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>If you are allergic to deferasirox or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>If this applies to you, tell your doctor before taking deferasirox<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>If you think you may be allergic, ask your doctor for advice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>If you have moderate or severe kidney disease<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>If you are currently taking any other iron chelator medicines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Possible side effects:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop throat tightness or swelling of the eyes, face, lips or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Stop using the product if you develop hives or itching of the face or body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to use Deferasirox:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The dose of deferasirox is related to body weight for all patients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Your doctor will calculate the dose you need and tell you how many tablets to take each day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The maximum recommended daily dose for deferasirox film-coated tablets is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>28 mg per kilogram body weight for patients receiving regular blood transfusions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>14 mg per kilogram body weight for adult patients not receiving regular blood transfusions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>7 mg per kilogram body weight for children and adolescents not receiving regular blood transfusions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to store Deferasirox:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the blister and the carton after EXP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do not use any pack that is damaged or shows signs of tampering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Do
