Your doctor will decide whether it is suitable for your child. You must follow the doctor\u2019s instructions carefully.<\/p>\n<p>Possible side effects<\/p>\n<p>These include stomach pain, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, wind and feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting).<\/p>\n<p><b>Other medicines and Mebendazole\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Metronidazole \u2013 for certain infections<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Cimetidine \u2013 for excess stomach acidity.<\/p>\n<p><b>How to take Mebendazole<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The dose of vermox depends on the type of worm infection you are treating. The most common worm infection of the gut is threadworm. Please consult your doctor if you are unsure.<\/p>\n<p>Threadworm Infection<\/p>\n<p>Adults and children over 2 years old: Take one 5ml dose. Repeat after 2-4 weeks.
