It can cause problems in passing water (urine). This happens mainly in older men.<\/p>\n<p><b>Do not take Alfuzosin if:<br \/>\n<\/b>\u2022 You are allergic (hypersensitive) to Alfuzosin or any of the other ingredients of Alfuzosin.<br \/>\n\u2022 You are taking another alpha-blocker.<br \/>\n\u2022 You have something called orthostatic hypotension.<br \/>\n\u2022 You have serious liver problems.<\/p>\n<p><b>Possible side effects:<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Chest pain<br \/>\n<\/b>Normally, this only happens if you have had angina before.<\/p>\n<p><b>Allergic reactions<br \/>\n<\/b>You could notice symptoms of angioedema, such as a red and lumpy skin rash, swelling (on the eyelids, face, lips, mouth and tongue), difficulty in breathing or swallowing.<\/p>\n<p>These are symptoms of an allergic reaction. If this happens, stop taking your tablets and contact a doctor or go to a hospital immediately.<\/p>\n<p><b>Painful erection of the penis (priapism)<br \/>\n<\/b>If you get painful erections of the penis, unrelated to sexual activity, that will not go away stop taking your tablets and contact a doctor or go to a hospital immediately.<\/p>\n<p><b>Other medicines with Alfuzosin:<\/b><br \/>\nDo not take Alfuzosin if you are taking:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Other alpha-blockers such as doxazosin, indoramin, prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin, or phenoxybenzamine.<\/p>\n<p><b>How to take Alfuzosin:<\/b><br \/>\nThe usual dose is one Alfuzosin tablet three times a day.<\/p>\n<p><b>How to store Alfuzosin:<\/b><br \/>\nKeep out of the reach and sight of children.<br \/>\nDo not use Alfuzosin after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
