This belongs to a group of\u00a0medicines\u00a0called \u20185-alpha reductase inhibitors.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Prosnorm\u00a0shrinks the prostate gland in men when it\u00a0is swollen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The prostate gland is found\u00a0underneath the bladder (but only in men).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>It\u00a0produces the fluid found in semen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>A swollen prostate gland can lead to a condition called \u2018benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What is BPH?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li
