Use:
\nThis medication is used to provide rapid relief from occasional constipation in adults.
\nIt may also be used under medical supervision to cleanse the bowel before diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, or surgery.

How it works:
\nFleet Enema contains sodium phosphate, a combination of sodium dihydrogen phosphate and disodium hydrogen phosphate.
\nWhen administered rectally, it draws water into the lower bowel through an osmotic effect.
\nThis increases fluid content in the intestines, softens the stool, and promotes peristalsis (bowel movement) within 5 to 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
Dosage and administration:
\nFor adults and children aged 12 years and older, use one 133 ml bottle as a single dose unless directed otherwise by a doctor.
\nRemove the protective shield from the enema tip, gently insert the lubricated tip into the rectum while lying on the left side with knees bent, and squeeze the bottle slowly to release the solution.
\nTry to retain the enema for 2 to 5 minutes before allowing a bowel movement.
\nEach enema is for single use only \u2014 discard any remaining liquid after use.<\/p>\n
