200mg Capsule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What Crizotinib is used for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Crizotinib is an anticancer medicine used to treat adults with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer, that presents with a specific rearrangement or defect in either a gene called anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) or a gene called ROS1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Do not use Crizotinib:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do not use If you are allergic to crizotinib or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Possible side effects:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop throat tightness or swelling of the eyes, face, lips or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Stop using the product if you develop hives or itching of the face or body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other medicines and Crizotinib:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines, including herbal medicines and medicine obtained over the counter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>In particular, the following medicines may increase the risk of side effects with crizotinib:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Clarithromycin, telithromycin, erythromycin, antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Ketoconazole, itraconazole, posaconazole, voriconazole, used to treat fungal infections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Atazanavir, ritonavir, cobicistat, used to treat HIV infections\/AIDS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The following medicines may reduce the effectiveness of crizotinib:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Phenytoin, carbamazepine or phenobarbital, anti-epileptics used to treat seizures or fits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Rifabutin, rifampicin, used to treat tuberculosis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>John\u2019s wort (Hypericum perforatum), an herbal product used to treat depression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Oral contraceptives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>If you take it whilst using oral contraceptives, the oral contraceptives may be ineffective.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to use Crizotinib:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The recommended dose is one capsule of 250 mg taken orally twice daily (total amount 500 mg).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Take the capsule once in the morning and once in the evening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Take the capsules at about the same time each day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>You can take the capsules with or without food always avoiding grapefruit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Swallow the capsules whole and do not crush, dissolve or open the capsules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to store Crizotinib:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle or blister foil and carton after \u201cEXP\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do not use any pack that is damaged or shows signs of tampering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or
