{"id":9905,"date":"2025-10-21T12:37:11","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T09:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theoutlet.sa\/?post_type=product&#038;p=9905"},"modified":"2025-10-21T12:37:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T09:37:11","slug":"acular-ls-0-4-eye-drop-5-ml","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/theoutlet.sa\/ar\/\u0645\u0646\u062a\u062c\/acular-ls-0-4-eye-drop-5-ml\/","title":{"rendered":"Acular-Ls 0.4% Eye Drop 5 ml"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><b>What Ketorolac tromethamine is used for:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Ketorolac tromethamine is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug.<\/li>\n<li>The ophthalmic solution is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation following cataract surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Do not take Ketorolac tromethamine if:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Beyond 24 weeks of amenorrhea (5 months of age pregnancy)<\/li>\n<li>Hypersensitivity to Ketorolac tromethamine<\/li>\n<li>History of asthma triggered by the use of Ketorolac tromethamine or substances of similar activity such as other NSAIDs, aspirin<\/li>\n<li>Gastrointestinal haemorrhage, cerebrovascular haemorrhage or another evolving haemorrhage<\/li>\n<li>An evolving gastric ulcer or intestinal<\/li>\n<li>Severe hepatic impairment<\/li>\n<li>Severe renal impairment<\/li>\n<li>Severe uncontrolled heart failure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Warnings &amp; Precautions:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Delayed Healing: Topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may slow or delay healing.<\/li>\n<li>Tell your doctor if you are taking topical corticosteroids<\/li>\n<li>There is the potential for cross-sensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid, phenylacetic acid derivatives, and other NSAIDs.<\/li>\n<li>There have been reports of bronchospasm or exacerbation of asthma associated with the use of ketorolac tromethamine ophthalmic solution in patients who either have a known hypersensitivity to aspirin\/non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or a past medical history of asthma.<\/li>\n<li>Increased Bleeding Time: With some NSAIDs, there exists the potential for increased bleeding time due to interference with thrombocyte aggregation.<\/li>\n<li>It is recommended that ophthalmic solution be used with caution in patients with known bleeding tendencies or who are receiving other medications, which may prolong bleeding time.<\/li>\n<li>If you have evidence of corneal epithelial breakdown should immediately discontinue use of topical NSAIDs and should be closely monitored for corneal health.<\/li>\n<li>If you used more than 1 day prior to surgery or used beyond 14 days post-surgery may increase risk for the occurrence and severity of corneal adverse events.<\/li>\n<li>It should not be administered while wearing contact lenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Possible Side Effects:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>High pressure in the eye<\/li>\n<li>Headache<\/li>\n<li>Blurred vision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Other medicines and Ketorolac tromethamine:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements.<\/li>\n<li>Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:<\/li>\n<li>Topical corticosteroids are also known to slow or delay healing.<\/li>\n<li>Concomitant use of topical NSAIDs and topical steroids may increase the potential for healing problems.<\/li>\n<li>Several substances are involved in interactions, due to their antiplatelet medicinal products properties: aspirin and NSAIDs, ticlopidine and clopidogrel, tiro\u00acban, epti\u00acbatide and abciximab, iloprost.<\/li>\n<li>The use of several antiplatelet agents increases the risk of bleeding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>How to take Ketorolac tromethamine:<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Adults:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>One drop should be applied to the affected eye twice daily beginning 1 day prior to cataract surgery,<\/li>\n<li>continued on the day of surgery, and through the first 2 weeks of the postoperative period.<\/li>\n<li>If administered in conjunction with other topical ophthalmic medications such as alpha-agonists, beta-blockers, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, cycloplegics, and mydriatics.
