400\"><b><strong>What Amantadine sulfate tablet is used for :<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Amantadine sulfate tablet is effective against all symptoms of Parkinson\u2019s disease such as rigidity, tremor and hypo- or akinesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><strong>Do not take Amantadine sulfate tablets :<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">hypersensitivity to amantadine or to any of the other constituents of the medicinal product<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">severe heart insufficiency<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">cardiomyopathies and myocarditis<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">bradycardia<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">history of serious arrhythmias<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">severe renal impairment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><strong>Warnings and precautions :<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Amantadine sulfate tablets may be used only with particular caution in patients with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">prostate hypertrophy<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">narrow angle glaucoma<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">kidney failure (of varying severity<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">states of agitation or confusion and<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">delirious syndromes or exogenous psychosis in the anamnesis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><strong>Possible side effects :<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sleep disturbances, restlessness and agitation, and urinary retention in association with prostate hypertrophy may occur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Paranoid exogenous psychoses accompanied by visual hallucinations may be triggered, particular in pre disposed elderly patients.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The development of side effects sometimes accompanied by edema in the lower leg and ankle is commonly observed as a characteristic skin reaction for amantadine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><strong>Other medicines and Amantadine sulfate tablets :<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The simultaneous use of amantadine and the below listed drugs is contraindicated.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">certain antiarrhythmic agents<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">certain antipsychotics<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">certain antidepressants<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">certain antihistamines<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">certain macrolide antibiotics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><strong>How to take Amantadine sulfate tablets :<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is recommended that treatment be started with 1 tablet\/day on the first three days to be increased<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">to a regular dosage of 2 tablets\/day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><strong>How to store Amantadine sulfate tablets :<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do not store above 25\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shelf life: 5
