Medication name: Silomes 100 mg Tablets contain the active ingredient Amisulpride, an atypical antipsychotic from the benzamide group.

Use: This medication is prescribed for the treatment of schizophrenia, helping manage both positive symptoms (such as hallucinations, delusions, and agitation) and negative symptoms (such as social withdrawal, lack of motivation, and emotional flatness).

How it works: Amisulpride acts by selectively blocking dopamine D₂ and D₃ receptors in certain regions of the brain, reducing abnormal dopamine activity.
