Elica-M Cream 30 gm

Medication name: Elica-M Cream contains Mometasone furoate (0.1%) and Miconazole nitrate (2%), combining a corticosteroid and an antifungal agent.

Each tube contains 30 grams of cream for external use.

Drug class: Topical corticosteroid + antifungal combination

Use: Elica-M is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions complicated by fungal infections, such as eczema, dermatitis, ringworm (tinea), athlete’s foot, and jock itch.

It helps reduce redness, itching, and swelling while eliminating the fungal infection.

How it works:

• Mometasone furoate reduces inflammation, itching, and redness by suppressing the immune response in the affected skin.

• Miconazole nitrate kills and prevents the growth of fungi and some bacteria by disrupting their cell membrane integrity.

Dosage and administration: Apply a thin layer of Elica-M Cream to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by a doctor.

Gently rub until absorbed. Wash hands before and after application. Avoid applying to large areas or under occlusive dressings unless instructed.

Side effects: Common side effects include mild burning, itching, dryness, or irritation at the application site.

Prolonged use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, or lightening of skin color.

Precautions:

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds.

• Do not use on face, groin, or underarms unless prescribed.
