Reparil Gel 40 gm

Medication name: Reparil Gel 40 g contains Aescin (1%) and Diethylamine salicylate (5%), a combination that provides anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, and pain-relieving effects for local muscular and joint conditions.

Drug class: Topical anti-inflammatory / Analgesic / Venotonic agent

Use: Reparil Gel is used to treat:

• Muscle pain and inflammation (strains, sprains, sports injuries)

• Bruises and hematomas (localized swelling and discoloration)

• Joint pain and stiffness from arthritis or overuse

• Varicose veins and leg heaviness caused by poor circulation

How it works:

• Aescin, derived from horse chestnut, improves venous tone and microcirculation, reducing swelling and fluid leakage in tissues.

• Diethylamine salicylate acts as an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever, helping reduce local pain, heat, and stiffness.
  Together, they promote faster healing and reduce inflammation, swelling, and bruising.

Dosage and administration:

• Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area 2–3 times daily.

• Gently massage until completely absorbed.

• For sensitive or inflamed skin, apply without rubbing and allow to absorb naturally.

• Do not apply to broken or infected skin.

• Wash hands after application.

Side effects: Generally well tolerated. Rarely, mild redness, itching, or burning sensation may occur at the site of application.

Precautions:

• For external use only.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, or open wounds.

• Do not use with other topical anti-inflammatory or salicylate-containing products.

• Avoid applying to large skin areas for prolonged periods.

• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
