Zolan 5 mg, 30 Tablets

* Zolan contains olanzapine and belongs to a group of medicines called antipsychotics.
* Used to treat conditions with symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, suspiciousness, and emotional withdrawal.
* Also used in moderate to severe manic episodes with symptoms like excitement, euphoria, and increased activity.
* Helps prevent recurrence in patients with bipolar disorder who responded to treatment.

Uses:
* Schizophrenia
* Bipolar disorder
* Moderate to severe manic episodes
* Prevention of recurrence in bipolar disorder

Dosage and Administration:
* Take exactly as prescribed by a doctor
* Recommended daily dose: 5–20 mg once daily
* Take at the same time each day
* Can be taken with or without food
* Swallow the tablet whole with water

Warnings and Precautions:
* Not recommended in elderly patients with dementia
* May cause unusual movements, especially in face or tongue
* May cause weight gain, high blood sugar, and increased cholesterol
* Use caution in patients with heart disease, diabetes, seizures, or liver/kidney problems
* Avoid alcohol as it may increase drowsiness

Contraindications:
* Allergy to olanzapine or any ingredient
* Certain types of glaucoma (increased eye pressure)
