Zinforo 600 mg, Powder for Concentrate for Infusion, 1 Vial

Zinforo is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections.
Contains ceftaroline fosamil, which works by killing susceptible bacteria.
Effective in treating skin infections and pneumonia.
Administered as an intravenous infusion in hospital settings.

Uses:
Skin and soft tissue infections
Community-acquired pneumonia

Dosage and Administration:
Administered by IV infusion only
Usual adult dose: 600 mg every 12 hours
May be given every 8 hours in some cases
Infusion duration: 5–60 minutes (up to 120 minutes for higher doses)
Duration of treatment depends on infection type

Warnings and Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with kidney problems
Risk of allergic reactions, especially with beta-lactam antibiotics
May cause severe skin reactions or secondary infections
Monitor for severe diarrhea

Contraindications:
