Revlimid 10 mg Lenalidomide Capsules 21 Count

Revlimid contains the active agent lenalidomide. This influences certain cells and substances of the immune system and thus inhibits the formation of cancerous blood cells.

• Revlimid is given alone or in combination with other medicines to patients with multiple myeloma (a cancer characterized by the massive proliferation of certain cells in the bone marrow).

How to use:

• Revlimid capsules should be taken with a little water, with or without meals, at approximately the same time each day.
• They should neither be opened nor chewed. Hands should be washed immediately after contact with the capsules.
• Be careful never to suck up the powder contained in the capsules (for example from a damaged capsule) and to avoid any contact of the powder with the skin or mucous membranes (eyes!).

Caution & Warnings:

• Male patients who have sexual intercourse with a woman of childbearing potential should use condoms throughout treatment, including treatment breaks, and for 7 days after treatment ends. Additionally, patients should not donate sperm under any circumstances while taking lenalidomide or for 7 days after finishing lenalidomide.
• Due to the risk to the unborn child, you should never give Revlimid to another person.
• You should not donate blood during treatment, during interruptions or for at least 7 days after stopping treatment.
• Before starting treatment, your doctor will check that you are not pregnant. Thereafter, he will subject you to a pregnancy test every 4 weeks for the duration of treatment, as well as a final pregnancy test 4 weeks after the end of treatment.
• Your doctor or another doctor will advise you about the appropriate methods of contraception for you. You should generally start applying these methods 4 weeks before the start of treatment, and strictly continue their application not only for the entire duration of treatment, including treatment breaks, but also for the four weeks following treatment.
• If you are pregnant or think you might become pregnant despite careful use of contraceptive measures while taking Revlimid or during the four weeks following treatment, you should tell your doctor immediately. He will then initiate the necessary measures.

• Inflammation of the nose and throat, bronchitis, urinary tract infections
