Pertuzumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to bind to the HER2 receptor and inhibit HER2’s ability to interact with other members of the HER family (HER1, HER2, HER3, and HER4) on the surface cancer cell surface.

• • The HER signaling pathway plays a role in the formation and growth of many cancers, and previous clinical trials with pertuzumab as monotherapy have suggested clinical activity, including disease stable in heavily treated patients with advanced cancers of the liver, ovary, and breast.

How to use:

• • For intravenous infusion only. Do not administer as an intravenous push or bolus.

Caution & Warnings:

• • Pertuzumab is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pertuzumab or to any of its excipients

• • Diarrhea, alopecia, leukopenia, nausea, fatigue, rash, and illness peripheral nerves.
