Use:
This medication is used to relieve symptoms of hemorrhoids (piles), such as pain, swelling, itching, burning, and irritation in the anal area.
It helps soothe inflammation, reduce discomfort, and promote healing of rectal tissues affected by hemorrhoidal swelling.

How it works:
Pilocin Cream contains a combination of soothing, anti-inflammatory, and vasoconstrictive ingredients that work together to reduce inflammation and swelling of the anal veins.
The formulation also provides a protective barrier to prevent further irritation and improve tissue healing.
Some components may have mild anesthetic effects that help relieve pain and itching during bowel movements.

Dosage and administration:
Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before application.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected external area two to three times daily, preferably after each bowel movement and before bedtime.
For internal hemorrhoids, use the applicator provided (if available) to apply a small amount inside the rectum.
Wash hands well before and after use.
Do not use for more than seven consecutive days without consulting a doctor.

Side effects:
Pilocin Cream is generally well tolerated.
Mild burning, itching, or local irritation may occur temporarily after application.
Rarely, allergic skin reactions such as rash or redness may develop.
Stop using the cream and consult a doctor if severe irritation, bleeding, or pain occurs.

Precautions:
Do not use if allergic to any of the cream’s ingredients.
Consult your doctor if you have rectal bleeding, persistent pain, or symptoms that do not improve within a week.
Avoid applying to broken or infected skin.
For external use only — do not ingest.

Store below 25 °C, in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.
Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
