Use:
This medication is used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, sore throat, muscle aches, and pain due to teething or injury.
It is also used to reduce fever caused by colds, flu, or other infections in children and adults.

How it works:
The active ingredient, ibuprofen, works by blocking the production of prostaglandins chemicals in the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever.
By reducing these chemicals, ibuprofen lowers fever, relieves pain, and decreases inflammation effectively.

Dosage and administration:
Shake the bottle well before use.
Each 5 ml of syrup contains 100 mg of ibuprofen.
The recommended dose depends on age and body weight.
Children aged 1–2 years may take 2.5 ml every 6–8 hours as needed.
Children aged 3–7 years may take 5 ml every 6–8 hours, and those aged 8–12 years may take 10 ml every 6–8 hours.
Do not exceed 4 doses within 24 hours.
It is best taken with or after food to minimize stomach irritation.
Always use the provided measuring cup or syringe and follow your doctor’s instructions.

Side effects:
Profinal is generally well tolerated when used as directed.
Possible mild side effects include nausea, stomach discomfort, or heartburn.
Serious but rare effects may include rash, allergic reactions, swelling, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Seek medical attention if any severe or persistent symptoms occur.

Precautions:
Do not use in individuals allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
