Medication name: Quetta XR 400 mg Tablets contain the active ingredient Quetiapine fumarate, an atypical antipsychotic medication used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and as an adjunct therapy for major depressive disorder (MDD).

Each pack contains 30 extended-release tablets designed for once-daily oral administration.

Use: Quetta XR helps control symptoms of schizophrenia such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking.

In bipolar disorder, it manages both manic and depressive episodes and prevents recurrence of mood swings.

It may also be prescribed alongside antidepressants for the treatment of major depressive disorder.

How it works: Quetiapine acts by modulating dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain, helping to normalize neurotransmitter activity.

The extended-release (XR) form provides a steady release of the drug over 24 hours, offering continuous symptom relief with once-daily dosing.
