Medication name: Snafi 20 mg Film-Coated Tablets (4 pcs) contain Tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men.

Use:
Snafi is prescribed for:

• Erectile dysfunction (ED): Helps achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activity.

• Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH): Relieves urinary symptoms such as difficulty starting urination or frequent urination.

How it works:
Tadalafil works by inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, increasing cGMP levels in the smooth muscle of the penis and prostate.

This promotes relaxation of blood vessels, enhancing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation and improving urinary flow in men with BPH.
Unlike other PDE5 inhibitors, Tadalafil can remain active for up to 36 hours, earning it the nickname “the weekend pill.”

Dosage and administration:

• For erectile dysfunction: 20 mg tablet taken before sexual activity (effects last up to 36 hours).

• May be taken with or without food.

• Do not exceed one tablet per day.

• Swallow whole with water.

Side effects:
Common: Headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion, muscle pain, or back pain.
Rare: Dizziness, blurred vision, prolonged erection (priapism), or low blood pressure.

Precautions:

• Do not use with nitrates or nitric oxide donors (dangerous drop in blood pressure).

• Avoid excessive alcohol intake.

• Consult your doctor if you have heart disease, low blood pressure, liver/kidney problems, or vision disorders.
