Medication name: Solian 400 mg Tablets contain the active ingredient Amisulpride, an atypical antipsychotic from the benzamide group.

Each pack includes 30 tablets intended for oral use under medical supervision.

Use: Solian is prescribed for the treatment of schizophrenia, including both positive symptoms (such as hallucinations, delusions, and thought disorders) and negative symptoms (such as lack of motivation, social withdrawal, and emotional flattening).

It helps restore mental balance and improve overall functioning.

How it works: Amisulpride works by selectively blocking dopamine D₂ and D₃ receptors in specific brain regions.

This helps correct abnormal dopamine activity, which is often linked to psychotic and mood disturbances, improving both behavior and cognitive function.

Dosage and administration: The dose is determined by a doctor based on the patient’s condition and response to treatment.

Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, taken once or twice daily, with or without food.
