Use:
This medication is used to treat overactive bladder symptoms such as frequent urination, sudden urge to urinate, and involuntary urine leakage (urge incontinence).
It helps relax the muscles of the bladder, increasing bladder capacity and reducing the feeling of urgency.

How it works:
The active ingredient, trospium chloride, is an antimuscarinic agent that works by blocking acetylcholine — a neurotransmitter responsible for stimulating bladder muscle contractions.
By reducing these contractions, it helps the bladder hold urine longer and improves control over urination.
It acts locally on the bladder with minimal effects on the central nervous system.

Dosage and administration:
The usual adult dose is one tablet (30 mg) twice daily, taken before meals with a glass of water.
Swallow the tablet whole — do not crush or chew it.
Elderly patients or those with reduced kidney function may require a lower dose as advised by a doctor.
It is important to take the medication regularly to achieve the best results.

Side effects:
Spasmex is generally well tolerated.
Possible side effects include dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, or mild dizziness.
Less commonly, urinary retention or allergic skin reactions may occur.
