Valdoxan 25 mg 28 Tablets

• Agomelatine Tablets are given to treat your depression.
• Agomelatine Tablets are used in adults.

• If you are allergic to agomelatine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• If your liver does not work properly.
• If you are taking fluvoxamine (another medicine used in the treatment of depression) or ciprofloxacin (an antibiotic).

• If you are taking medicines known to affect the liver.
• If you are obese or overweight.
• If you are diabetic.
• If you have bipolar disorder.
• If you are suffering from dementia.

• Most side effects are mild or moderate.
• They usually occur within the first two weeks of the treatment and are usually temporary.

• Headache

• You should not take Agomelatine Tablets together with certain medicine: fluvoxamine (another medicine used in the treatment of depression), ciprofloxacin (an antibiotic).
• Make sure to tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: propranolol (a beta-blocker used in the treatment of hypertension), enoxacin (antibiotic)
• If  you are smoking more than 15 cigarettes/day.

How to take Agomelatine Tablets :

• The recommended dose of Agomelatine Tablets is one tablet (25mg) at bedtime.
• In some cases, your doctor may prescribe a higher dose (50mg), i.e. two tablets to be taken together at bedtime.

• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister.
• The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
• Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture.
• This medicinal product does not require any special temperature storage conditions.
• Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
