Medication name:
Dizinil 50 mg Tablets contain Dimenhydrinate (50 mg), an antihistamine and antiemetic medication used to prevent and treat motion-related nausea and dizziness.
Each box contains 20 tablets for oral use only.

Use:
Dizinil is used to prevent and relieve nausea, vomiting, and dizziness associated with motion sickness, vertigo, or inner ear disorders such as labyrinthitis and Ménière’s disease.
It may also be used to control nausea from other causes as advised by a physician.

How it works:
Dimenhydrinate works by blocking histamine (H₁) receptors and reducing stimulation of the vomiting center in the brain.
It also suppresses the inner ear’s balance signals, helping to control dizziness and motion-related discomfort.

Dosage and administration:
The usual adult dose is one tablet (50 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed, not exceeding 400 mg per day, or as directed by your doctor.
For motion sickness, take the first dose 30–60 minutes before travel.
Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects:
Common side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, dizziness, and constipation.
Less common side effects may include headache, nervousness, or difficulty urinating.
Avoid alcohol or other sedatives while taking this medication.

Precautions:
For oral use only.
Do not use if you are allergic to dimenhydrinate or other antihistamines.
Consult your doctor before use if you have asthma, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, urinary retention, or liver disease.
