Product Description:

• • Amlodipine/Olmesartan tablets are a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

It contains two medications:

• • Amlodipine: This is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure.

• • Olmesartan: This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking a substance in the body that causes the blood vessels to tighten. This relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.

Amlodipine/Olmesartan is available in four strengths:

• • Amlodipine 5mg / Olmesartan 20mg

• • Amlodipine 5mg / Olmesartan 40mg

• • Amlodipine 10mg / Olmesartan 20mg

• • Amlodipine 10mg / Olmesartan 40mg

How to Use:

• • Always follow your doctor’s instructions. The dosage and duration of treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and medical condition.

• • Take Amlodipine/Olmesartan tablets exactly as prescribed. Swallow the tablets whole with water.

• • Take Amlodipine/Olmesartan tablets at the same time each day, usually once daily.

• • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Warnings and Precautions:

• • Amlodipine/Olmesartan may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, fatigue, and swelling in the ankles.

• • Inform your doctor about all medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
