Skinoren Cream 30 gm

Medication name: Skinoren Cream 30 g contains the active ingredient Azelaic acid (20%), a topical antibacterial and keratolytic agent used for the treatment of acne and other skin conditions.

Drug class: Topical anti-acne agent / Antibacterial

Use: Skinoren is used to treat mild to moderate acne (acne vulgaris) and hyperpigmentation disorders such as melasma.

It helps reduce pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads, clears blocked pores, and evens out skin tone.

How it works: Azelaic acid works by inhibiting the growth of acne-causing bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes) and reducing keratin production, which prevents clogged pores.

It also helps reduce inflammation and lighten dark spots caused by acne or pigmentation.

Dosage and administration: Apply a thin layer of Skinoren Cream to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening) on clean, dry skin. Gently rub until fully absorbed.

Wash hands before and after application. For sensitive skin, start with once-daily use and increase gradually. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Side effects: Common side effects include mild burning, itching, tingling, or redness at the application site.

These effects are usually temporary. Rarely, peeling, dryness, or swelling may occur with prolonged use.

Precautions:
