Medication name: Fucidin 2% Cream contains the active ingredient Fusidic acid (2%), which is a topical antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections.

Use: Fucidin Cream is used to treat skin infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria, including impetigo, infected eczema, boils, wounds, folliculitis, and minor cuts or abrasions.

It helps prevent the spread of infection and promotes faster healing.

How it works: Fusidic acid works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, stopping bacteria from growing and multiplying.

This helps the immune system eliminate the infection and reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling.

Dosage and administration: Apply a thin layer of Fucidin Cream to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by a doctor.

Wash hands before and after application. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open deep wounds.

Continue treatment for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve earlier.
