Medication name: Celebrex 200 mg Capsules contain the active ingredient Celecoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the COX-2 inhibitor class. Each pack includes 20 capsules intended for oral use.

Use: Celebrex is prescribed for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute musculoskeletal or menstrual pain. It helps improve mobility and reduce joint stiffness and swelling.

How it works: Celecoxib works by selectively inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme, which plays a key role in producing prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever.

This selective action provides pain relief while reducing the risk of stomach irritation often caused by traditional NSAIDs.

Dosage and administration: The usual dose is 200 mg once or twice daily, depending on the condition being treated.
