Use:
This medication is used to relieve discomfort caused by excessive gas in the stomach and intestines.
It helps reduce symptoms such as bloating, pressure, or fullness often associated with swallowing air, infant colic, or postoperative gas pain.

How it works:
The active ingredient, simethicone, works by breaking up gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines.
It lowers the surface tension of these gas bubbles, allowing them to combine and be expelled more easily through burping or passing gas.
This helps relieve pressure and abdominal discomfort without affecting stomach acid or digestion.

Dosage and administration:
Shake the bottle well before each use.
The drops can be given directly into the mouth or mixed with a small amount of water, milk, or formula.
For infants and children, the usual dose is 0.3 ml to 0.6 ml (20–40 mg simethicone) after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a doctor.
For adults, the typical dose is 0.6 ml to 1.2 ml (40–80 mg simethicone) after meals and at bedtime.
Always follow the doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions for dosage.

Side effects:
Deflat is generally safe and well tolerated.
Side effects are very rare but may include mild stomach discomfort or allergic reactions such as rash or itching.
