Use:
This medication is used to improve vein health and blood circulation.
It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, leg swelling, pain, and heaviness in the legs.
It is also used to relieve symptoms of acute hemorrhoids and improve capillary resistance in fragile or inflamed veins.

How it works:
The active ingredient, diosmin, is a natural flavonoid that strengthens vein walls and improves microcirculation.
It works by reducing venous distension, increasing vein tone, and improving lymphatic drainage.
Additionally, diosmin reduces inflammation and prevents blood stagnation, thereby relieving pain, swelling, and heaviness in the legs or rectal area.

Dosage and administration:
For chronic venous insufficiency, the usual dose is one tablet (600 mg) once daily, preferably in the morning before breakfast.
For acute hemorrhoids, the usual dose is two to three tablets daily for the first few days, followed by one tablet daily as directed by a doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with water — do not crush or chew it.
Continue treatment as prescribed, as maximum benefits are seen with regular use.

Side effects:
Phlebodia is generally well tolerated.
Mild side effects such as nausea, headache, abdominal pain, or digestive discomfort may occur.
