Medication name:
Tropex Ear Drops contain Phenazone 50 mg/ml and Lidocaine Hydrochloride, formulated to relieve pain and inflammation associated with ear infections and middle ear congestion.

Each dropper bottle contains 10 ml of ear drops for otic (ear) use only.

Use:
Tropex Ear Drops are used to treat pain, discomfort, and inflammation in the ear caused by middle ear infections (otitis media) or external ear infections (otitis externa).

They help reduce earache, swelling, and irritation, providing rapid relief and supporting recovery.

How it works:
Phenazone (an anti-inflammatory agent) reduces swelling and irritation in the ear canal, while Lidocaine (a local anesthetic) blocks nerve signals that transmit pain, offering immediate relief. Together, they provide a soothing and effective dual-action formula that alleviates ear pain and improves comfort.

Dosage and administration:
Instill 2 to 3 drops into the affected ear two to three times daily, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Tilt your head to keep the ear facing upward for several minutes to allow the drops to spread evenly.
Repeat for the other ear if needed.
Do not insert cotton swabs or objects into the ear.
For otic use only.

Side effects:
Tropex is generally well tolerated.
Mild transient stinging, irritation, or a sensation of warmth in the ear may occur after application.
If redness, swelling, or worsening pain develops, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
