Versatis 700 mg medicated Plaster 5 pcs

Medication name: Versatis 700 mg Medicated Plaster (5 pcs) contains Lidocaine 700 mg per patch (5%), a topical local anesthetic used for the relief of neuropathic (nerve-related) pain, particularly post-herpetic neuralgia  persistent pain following shingles.

Use: Versatis Plaster provides localized pain relief in adults suffering from post-herpetic neuralgia.

It helps reduce burning, sharp, or stabbing pain, tenderness, and sensitivity in the affected skin area.

How it works:
Lidocaine acts by blocking sodium channels in overactive or damaged peripheral nerves, thereby preventing transmission of pain signals to the brain.

The plaster delivers the drug directly through the skin for sustained local relief over several hours with minimal systemic absorption.

Dosage and administration:

• Apply the plaster to clean, dry, intact skin over the painful area.

• Use up to 3 patches simultaneously, depending on pain coverage.

• Leave each patch on for no more than 12 hours within a 24-hour period.

• Remove for at least 12 hours before applying a new one.

• Patches can be cut to size to fit the painful area.

• Wash hands after application and removal.

Side effects: Common side effects include mild skin irritation, redness, itching, burning, or rash at the site of application.

Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions or swelling may occur.

Precautions:

• For external use only.

• Do not apply to broken, inflamed, or infected skin.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.

• Do not use together with other lidocaine-containing products.

• Caution in patients with severe liver disease, heart rhythm disorders, or epilepsy.
