Waxsol 0.5% Ear Drop 10 ml

Medication name:
Waxsol 0.5% Ear Drops contain Docusate Sodium 0.5% w/v, a cerumenolytic agent designed to soften and help remove hardened earwax.

Each bottle contains 10 ml of ear drops for otic (ear) use only.

Use:
Waxsol 0.5% Ear Drops are used to loosen and remove excess or hardened earwax that can cause blockage, discomfort, itching, or temporary hearing loss.

They make ear cleaning easier and help maintain a clear and healthy ear canal.

How it works:
Docusate Sodium acts as a surface-active agent that penetrates and softens hardened earwax.

It breaks down the wax structure, allowing it to disperse and drain naturally from the ear canal, restoring normal hearing and comfort.

Dosage and administration:
Tilt your head sideways and instill enough drops (usually 1–2 full droppers) to fill the affected ear canal.
Keep the ear facing upward for several minutes to allow the solution to penetrate.
Use once daily for two consecutive nights, or as directed by your doctor.
Do not insert cotton swabs or other objects into the ear.
For otic use only.

Side effects:
Waxsol is generally well tolerated.
Mild temporary irritation, stinging, or a feeling of fullness in the ear may occur after application.
Discontinue use if pain, redness, swelling, or discharge develops, and consult a doctor.

Precautions:
For ear use only.
Do not use if the eardrum is perforated, or if you have ear infection, inflammation, or recent ear surgery.
Avoid contact with eyes or mouth.
Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or before using in children under 12 years of age.
Keep the dropper clean and tightly closed after use.

Store below 25 °C, in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
