Use:
This medication is used to treat and prevent conditions related to excess stomach acid such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach and duodenal ulcers, and gastritis.
It helps relieve symptoms like heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion, and supports the healing of the stomach and esophagus lining.

How it works:
The active ingredient, omeprazole, works by inhibiting the proton pumps in the stomach lining that produce acid.
By blocking this enzyme system, it significantly reduces the amount of acid released into the stomach, allowing inflamed tissues to heal and preventing further irritation.

Dosage and administration:
The usual adult dose is one capsule (20 mg) once daily, preferably before breakfast or a meal.
Swallow the capsule whole with water—do not chew or crush it.
Treatment duration varies depending on the condition: usually 2 to 4 weeks for heartburn or mild reflux, and up to 8 weeks for ulcers or more severe cases.
Always follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dose and duration.

Side effects:
Gasec is generally well tolerated.
Common side effects may include headache, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, or flatulence.
