Use:
This medication is used to relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal conditions that cause abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, and discomfort.
It helps regulate bowel movement and relax the intestines without causing diarrhea or constipation.

How it works:
The active ingredient, mebeverine hydrochloride, acts directly on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract.
It helps relax these muscles by preventing abnormal contractions (spasms) while maintaining normal bowel function.
This results in relief from pain, bloating, and irregular bowel movements commonly associated with IBS.

Dosage and administration:
The usual adult dose is one tablet (135 mg) three times daily, taken preferably 20 minutes before meals.
Swallow the tablet whole with water — do not crush or chew it.
Once symptoms improve, your doctor may reduce the dose gradually.
Do not stop treatment suddenly without medical advice.

Side effects:
