Use:
This medication is used to relieve abdominal pain, cramping, and discomfort caused by irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastritis, or urinary tract spasms.
It helps relax the smooth muscles of the digestive and urinary tracts, easing pain and reducing muscle tension.

How it works:
The active ingredient, hyoscine butylbromide, works by blocking the action of acetylcholine — a natural chemical messenger responsible for muscle contractions in the stomach, intestines, and bladder.
By inhibiting these nerve signals, it prevents spasms, allowing the muscles to relax and relieving pain and discomfort.

Dosage and administration:
The usual adult dose is one to two tablets (10–20 mg) taken three to five times daily, depending on the severity of symptoms.
Swallow the tablets whole with water; do not crush or chew them.
For children aged 6–12 years, one tablet may be taken up to three times daily under medical supervision.
Always follow your doctor’s instructions and do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects:
Nospasm is generally well tolerated.
Mild side effects may include dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, or blurred vision.
Rarely, allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or swelling may occur.
