Medication name: Tilax 4 mg Tablets contain the active ingredient Tizanidine, a centrally acting muscle relaxant used to relieve muscle stiffness and spasms.

Each pack includes 30 tablets for oral use.

Drug class: Muscle relaxant / Antispastic agent

Use: Tilax is prescribed to relieve muscle spasticity, stiffness, and spasms caused by conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, or other neuromuscular disorders.

It helps improve muscle flexibility, reduce pain, and enhance movement.

How it works: Tizanidine works by stimulating alpha-2 adrenergic receptors in the spinal cord, which reduces excessive nerve signals responsible for muscle contraction.
