Medication name: Relezin 4 mg Tablets contain the active ingredient Tizanidine, a centrally acting muscle relaxant.

Use: Relezin is used to relieve muscle stiffness, spasms, and spasticity caused by conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, or neuromuscular disorders.

It helps improve mobility and reduce discomfort associated with muscle tension.

How it works: Tizanidine works by inhibiting presynaptic motor neurons through stimulation of alpha-2 adrenergic receptors in the spinal cord.

This action decreases excessive nerve signaling that leads to muscle contraction, resulting in relaxation and reduced spasticity.

Dosage and administration: The dosage is individualized and typically taken two to three times daily, as directed by a doctor.
